getting later -- but still going - Reunions; Fraternity and Seinfeld

so yes, these postings are getting later. but the positives are that there's usually a pm run to report on and today's no exception. This morning did 6 easy miles at a very light pace and felt real good afterwards. Feeling even a bit more energetic I did what I'm calling my "mini-tempo" runs; typically a 45 minute session where I do the first 5 or 6 minutes at a very moderate pace and then the mid 35 at a challenging (for me anyway) pace i.e. a 10 minute mile. I feel like that's a good barometer of being able to do a fairly easy job of hitting at an 11+ pace for the race next week.

As it's a bit on the later side, will just share that I'm looking towards a nice two day trip down to Silver Spring/DC for my annual T(au) E(psilon) P(hi)fraternity reunion. While I was just at the University of Maryland for two fun years, still have great memories and it's been really nice to renew some friendships from back then; what a change to be swapping stories about where our kids are headed to college instead about our own days of college - though there's still plenty of that too.

And in the spirit of reunions, I will share a clip from the Reunion Episode. I'll also add that while I loved the show, the Reunion Episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm didn't really grab me. I do enjoy Curb but not as much as Seinfeld and in it's absence, still a favorite. And, speaking of my fraternity, Mr. Larry David was also a TEP, so there!

Here's a clip...
