just a quick one and lots of thanks

hope this isn't too corny but want to use tonight's post to just appreciate...first, a big thank you to lots of great folks that clearly stepped up and supported TRY in our first ever (friendly) competition with other projects to earn a $1,000 grant. While we didn't hit #1, we really jumped places moving from a dead last 60 to well under 30 at various times - so a big nice move. As we always tell the students that run with us, it's Effort Over Outcome and it was so great to see people step up and show support for our new and growing program. We'll get it next time - all really good and I appreciate all of it

On the running note, a little bit of appreciation there as well. Having a nice recovery and stepping back up to five milers - well, technically 4.5 today but we'll be there by friday and even looking forward to a short long run over the weekend. So feeling good and glad of it...

Finally, on the Seinfeld front, it's been fun as I've clearly found a few people who need to get a life as much as I do (you know who you are) but want to keep the conversation going. As tomorrow, I'm going to meet with some other folks that I partnered with to host a volunteer happy hour a few weeks ago, I've got events on my mind. And who can forget the amazing Jewish singles event that Kramer hosted while getting Frank Constanza back in the kitchen. You may remember that Frank had been an amazing chef back in the day and served in the war. What happened that made him swear he would never cook again. And for the bonus: What happens in the Costanza household that inspires Frank to take up the spatula again?
