Rockefeller with the Dogs...And seafood

we were eager to again take advantage of the great weather so we headed up to the Rockefeller Preserve with our two dogs. For those of you that aren't New York based, a little past Tarrytown, there is a beautiful and bucolic chunk of land - I'm honestly not sure how much - that was part of the Rockefeller estate. It's a great spot that has several miles of trail, a lake, trees - the works. As my wife and I agreed, when we're there, we feel "outdoorsy".

Anyway, I have a neighbor - definitely an elite runner as opposed to myself (a slow but sound runner I like to say) that has always told me of the joy of running with her dog at Rockefeller. So I thought to myself that this would be a great opportunity to have a nice recovery run after my long(er) run yesterday. My wife was fine with me taking Sabrina for a 1/2 hour run while she walked much slower with our other guy and then eventually reconnecting. The only thing I can say is that at Rockefeller, there are many runners. And there are many folks with dogs. But I was the only guy running with his dog and it sure felt that way. Maybe it was the time of day (2:30/3:00), maybe it's because my dog is a bit of a street dog maniac (a.k.a. very badly behaved). Suffice to say (since Saturday night live is almost on and I'm wrapping up); not something I'm doing again soon. But gotta try it once.

On a lighter note, we went to my absolute favorite place for seafood tonight - more specifically crabs. As a little Seinfeld trivia, name at least two episodes where seafood is discussed as a seafood option. Hint: I"m thinking of one episode where George's life starts to move in a new direction and another where his mother's does as well. BONUS: Which episode involves the capture of certain crustaceans?
